Special Needs Registry

Subject: Special Needs Registry

What is the Middlesex County Special Needs Registry?

The Special Needs Registry is a no-cost service offered by Middlesex County. Through the efforts of a liaison at each Police Department in Middlesex County, the goal of the Registry is for all of Middlesex County residents who are in need of special assistance to get the suitable support, response, and required resources from local First Responders. Whether it be during an emergency, or during interaction with Law Enforcement, the individuals registered will be able to properly inform Law Enforcement of any sensitivity that needs to be addressed during interactions.

This registry is open to all individuals with special needs who reside, attend school, or are employed within Middlesex County.

ALL INFORMATION will be kept confidential, and will be solely utilized by First Responders in the case of a call for service or an emergency.

Upon registration, there will be an in-person meeting with your municipality's liaison to further ensure any and all questions are addressed.

An in-house registration may be submitted for the residents of Jamesburg Borough and Helmetta Borough at the Jamesburg Police Department located at 225 Gatzmer Ave, Jamesburg, NJ 08831.
